Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an experienced Embryologist for the Lister Fertility Clinic in Leeds. This full-time position requires a BSc in Life Science and at least two years of experience. The Embryologist will be responsible for handling oocytes and embryos, conducting fertilisation checks, and maintaining laboratory efficiency. Qualifications

  • Hold a BSc in Life Science or STP programme.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Embryologist.
  • Clinical ICSI experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine embryology service including oocyte/embryo handling.
  • Conduct fertilisation checks and embryo grading.
  • Participate in on-call system for cryo alarms.

London: Lister Fertility @ The Lister Hospital

Full time permanent contract: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday with rotational weekends

The post will also require you to participate in an on‑call system which is set up for the cryo alarm.

We are currently recruiting for an Embryologist at Lister Fertility Clinic @ The Lister Hospital.

As an Embryologist, you’ll work with our talented teams to support the delivery of safe, effective and patient‑centred fertility treatments. The Embryologist will perform all aspects of the routine embryology service offered by the Fertility Unit; including oocyte/embryo handling, fertilisation checks, culture, embryo grading and cryopreservation. Routine laboratory maintenance and administration is also a requirement for this post.

What you’ll bring:

For this role you will hold a BSc in Life Science. Suitable candidates may also have completed the STP programme, alternatively you may hold a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Embryologist.

Robust knowledge of and adherence to HFEA regulations, clinic SOPs and quality management systems.

Clinical ICSI experience.

Biopsy trained (desirable, not essential).
