Qualifications

• BSc in Life Science required.
• 2 years’ experience or Completion of STP programme required.
• Knowledge of HFEA regulations necessary.

Responsibilities

Embryologist

Location: London – Lister Fertility @ The Lister Hospital

Employment: Full‑time permanent contract (37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday with rotational weekends). The post includes participation in an on‑call system for the cryo alarm.

Salary: Competitive.

About the Role

As an Embryologist you will work with our talented teams to support the delivery of safe, effective and patient‑centred fertility treatments. You will perform all aspects of the routine embryology service offered by the Fertility Unit, including oocyte/embryo handling, fertilisation checks, culture, embryo grading and cryopreservation. Routine laboratory maintenance and administration is also a requirement for this post.

What You’ll Bring

• BSc in Life Science.
• Completion of the STP programme, or a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Embryologist.
• Robust knowledge of and adherence to HFEA regulations, clinic SOPs and quality management systems.
• Clinical ICSI experience.
• Biopsy trained (desirable, not essential).
