Job summary

Cambridge Consultants in Cambridge, UK, is seeking an experienced Electronics and/or Software Engineer to tackle complex embedded systems challenges, from hardware to firmware, and to apply it to robotics, LEGO collaborations, and defence projects. You will design and implement analogue and digital hardware, embedded software, and system verification, with interactions with clients at all project stages.

Security vetting is required; eligibility for UK National Security Vetting and Security

Qualifications

• Excellent degree or PhD in electrical/electronic or information engineering, computer science or physics.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement analog and digital hardware, embedded software, control and communications for a wide range of applications and products.
• Write software for embedded targets (C/C++/Rust), SystemVerilog for FPGAs, PCB design and hardware testing.
• Interact directly with clients at all phases of projects, from requirements capture to handover.
