A leading defence organisation is seeking an experienced embedded software leader for their Real Time Actuation Software Group. This role involves managing software teams, delivering safety-critical software, and applying innovative development techniques. A leader who can foster high-performing teams and navigate complex project environments is essential. The position offers a competitive salary and hybrid working options.

Salary: Circa £72,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4 to 5 days per week on-site, due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The Real Time Actuation Software Group is tasked with the development and delivery of actuation software that is a key component of our products, deployed into missile programmes. This role will provide the opportunity for collaboration with System Engineers, algorithm focused Servo Engineers, Product Verification and Equipment Design Authority.
A leader in software focussed on team leadership and delivering software. We are looking for a Software Project Lead (SPL) who can build high‑performing teams and create strong working relations with the multidiscipline project environments. These project environments include financial and budget control, system design, electronic design, safety, security & quality.
