Amodo is hiring software engineers to develop frontend and/or backend solutions in a hardware-focused environment. Roles involve writing production code in CPP, JS, TypeScript and Python, with typical experience of 3+ years post-qualification.

Offices in Sheffield or London, with pro-rata salary consideration. The team works across electronics, firmware, HPC and DevOps on diverse, impactful projects that bridge software and hardware.

Qualifications

• Strong background in frontend and/or backend development.
• Experience writing and deploying production code in one or more: CPP, JS, TypeScript, Python.
• 3+ years experience post-qualification.

Responsibilities

• Work on embedded/ hardware projects and software integration.
• Develop frontend and/or backend production code for real-world applications.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver hardware-software solutions.
• Contribute to projects with durations ranging from 2–8 months.
