Job summary

eg technology is seeking a Software Engineer with a science, engineering or mathematical background to tackle complex design challenges across embedded, desktop and mobile applications. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle on a variety of client projects with high impact.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and apply rigorous software engineering principles to deliver safe, usable products.

Qualifications

Good C++ and Python with experience in embedded, desktop, or mobile programming.
Development experience across embedded software, RTOS/Linux, device drivers, communications, Bluetooth, UI, web apps and DevOps.
Experience applying software engineering life cycle principles with verification and specification.
Experience in regulated industries and/or consultancy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Help develop software solutions across client projects from concept to release.
Develop software for regulated environments focusing on quality, safety and usability.
Collaborate with electronics, mechanical engineering and project teams.
Apply structured approaches to solve complex software challenges.
Support clients in turning ideas into robust, reliable products.
Continue to develop technical knowledge across varied project types.
