Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a software engineering role.
• Relevant experience in an industrial software and firmware design environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide software engineering design input to new products.
• Support existing product range with engineering solutions.
• Assess technical queries and optimize software solutions.
• Liaise with departments to ensure best technical solutions.
• Create engineering documentation such as specifications and reports.
• Ensure timely and budget-compliant software engineering solutions.
• Adhere to engineering processes and standards.
• Conduct site visits to client assets as needed.

Skills

Industrial software and firmware design experience

Embedded software (STM32 IDE or similar)

High level development languages (C#, C++, C, Python)

Windows programming (VisualStudio, Windows IoT)

Software development knowledge (version control, Agile, Waterfall)

Continuous Integration tools (Pipelines, Jenkins)

Education

Software / Computer Science / Electrical/electronic engineering degree
