Currently searching for an experienced Embedded C++ Software Engineer to join an established systems and product specialist based in Norwich. You will be part of a talented team of C++ Embedded Design Engineers who offer integrity, enthusiasm and who are passionate about delivering high quality software. You will bring a strong background in embedded software design and C++.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the full lifecycle of embedded software development: requirements, design through to implementation, testing and delivery
• Improve code quality, security and system performance
• Generate code where necessary to support software solutions
• Maintain familiarity with applicable standards and techniques and ensure compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the software solutions

About You

• Strong embedded C++ design skills
• Proven experience in a software engineering role
• Real-time embedded C++ software for Linux
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and tools
• Experience with Qt Creator would be a plus
