Qualifications

  • Software Design methodologies (e.g. UML)
  • System integration and performance analysis
  • Full life cycle development in Agile/SCRUM working environment where quality and accuracy of work is critical
  • Working closely with Firmware Engineers, Systems Engineers, Hardware Engineers, Test Engineers and respective leads
  • Hands‑on embedded software development opportunities
  • Training programs to develop technical and managerial leadership skills
  • Interaction with senior partners and international colleagues
  • Potential for travel and international secondments across UK and European sites

Salary and Working Hours

Salary: Circa £65,000 depending on experience.

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4 days per week on‑site; remaining days flexible due to workload classification.

Overtime: opportunity for paid overtime.

Location and Security Clearance

Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship.

All successful candidates must undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

All employees are required to hold UK Security or BPSS Clearance.
