Job summary

Profile 29 is recruiting a Verification Engineer to design, verify and certify embedded safety-critical software for autonomous platforms. The role involves developing verification strategies, test frameworks and certification evidence across safety-critical systems.

You will work within a highly specialised team, coordinating with engineers to ensure compliance with safety objectives, while contributing to maturity of the assurance framework and verification capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in safety-critical verification and validation.
• Experience with automated testing, fuzz testing, Monte Carlo simulation, fault injection, or similar techniques.
• Experience in regulated engineering environments and understanding of software lifecycle and verification processes.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time software.
• Experience generating certification evidence and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute verification strategies for safety-critical software and systems.
• Develop test frameworks, verification plans and certification evidence.
• Support software verification activities aligned with DO-178C objectives.
• Perform requirements-based verification and validation.
• Support certification artefact generation and traceability.
• Conduct integration, system and qualification testing.
• Work closely with software engineers to ensure safety objectives.
• Support maturation of the assurance framework and verification capability.
• Demonstrate leadership in achieving certification objectives.
