As a PSOC Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for physical security monitoring and, with training, disseminating mass communications concerning global events that hold the potential to impact the well‑being of company personnel and valuable assets.

You will act as a central point for escalation, coordination, and communication during times of crisis, and acting as a security concierge, you will engage with various business functions, ensuring a holistic approach to addressing their needs, expectations, and concerns. A third of the role will involve strategic and tactical intelligence analysis and reporting, such as producing travel security assessments and horizon scanning.

This role would require you to work 6 days on and 4 days off in the client’s London office, rotating between day shifts (7 : 00 am – 3 : 00 pm), (3 : 00 pm – 11 : 00 pm) and night shifts (11 : 00 pm – 7 : 00 am). If working bank holidays, you will get days back in liue.

The PSOC operates 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Therefore, you must be flexible to work on weekends and public holidays as required by the shift rota.

Responsibilities
  • Provide continuous 24 / 7 monitoring and management of security operations, including CCTV feeds, access control and door alarms
  • Monitor clients’ business travellers using global tracking tools to support the travel security program
  • Provide security assistance, answer questions, and serve as the security concierge for employees, visitors and vendors
  • Conduct routine patrols of the building and assist with escorting visitors as needed
  • Assist with the creation of temporary and permanent badges for employees, visitors, and contractors and ensure those badges have the appropriate accesses to our space
  • Respond to any calls from staff needing medical assistance
  • Assist first responders, and medical and law enforcement personnel as necessary
  • Ensure that staff, assets, and access points are secured on a regular basis, reporting any hazardous conditions to security management
  • Follow the client’s escalation procedures to notify security management of any critical incidents, unsafe conditions, or technical failures
  • Create accurate communication logs by reporting incidents in dedicated case management databases
  • Utilise geographic information systems to ascertain potential risk and incidents that occur in the vicinity of the client’s assets
  • Aid investigations by utilising data and information available in sensitive security databases
  • Facilitate the dissemination of information to mobilise the necessary resources to ensure that regional staff can mitigate immediate risks and incidents
Requirements
  • Relevant experience or interest in a physical security function, such as guarding, military service, law enforcement, private security, or a related field
  • Experience or interest in security policies, best practices, and procedures, with a customer service mindset
  • Eagerness to learn and support all aspects of PSOC operations, including following SOPs related to physical and asset security, security concierge services, securing access points and alarm response
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to take urgent calls from concerned stakeholders with patience and professionalism
  • Ability to monitor the news, social media, other information feeds and quickly determine the impact of security events and crises on business operations
  • Ability to interpret, organise and visualise data
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High level of competency with MS Office tools
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
Nice to have
  • Experience with PSOC tools, including mass notification systems (e.g. Everbridge, Vismo), security platforms (e.g. Genetec, CCURE, ProWatch) and social media monitoring (e.g. Dataminr, Navigator)
