Job summary

42 Technology Ltd is seeking an experienced embedded firmware/systems engineer with expertise in machine learning and machine vision. The role involves working directly with customers to translate requirements into deliverable embedded solutions, using Python, C and C++ with ML frameworks, and developing production-ready code.

You will define software architecture, system requirements and use cases, collaborating with the wider team and reporting to the Head of Embedded Systems.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience of working with customers to define tasks and deliver solutions.
• Experience in firmware development for embedded products with ML/vision components.
• Familiarity with ML/vision platforms and frameworks such as TensorFlow, OpenCV, PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define tasks from concept to delivery.
• Present technical work to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Define software system architecture, requirements, features and use cases.
• Develop intelligent embedded systems using Python, C and C++ with ML frameworks.
• Produce high-quality production code with modern software processes.
