Do you possess commercial experience in Embedded Linux development? Are you seeking a challenging mid level Software Engineer role where you can contribute solid Embedded C/C++ development skills to solve real world problems? Our Client, Global leaders in radar and surveillance systems development, seeks a Degree qualified mid-level Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join their team. Hybrid working available (3 days office / 2 WFH) and a salary on offer to C£45K + good benefits.

Working primarily in C++, applicants with strong C skills will be considered. The successful Embedded Linux Software Engineer will bring a good academic background to include a minimum of a 2.1 Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electronics with a software bias.

Requirements
  • C++ development skills or Embedded C with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong experience working with Embedded Linux.
  • Using Linux build systems such as Yocto or PetaLinux.
  • Previous involvement in the set-up / configuration of Embedded Linux systems.
  • Exposure to networking protocols.
