Embedded Linux Engineer - £55k - £65k - semi remote - Slough

Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for an expanding Electronics manufacturer based in Slough now seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer to help deliver key projects for clients across a range of applications.

You will be working as part of an experienced team to develop a range of bespoke products.

The company are expanding to meet the demands of their clients and are seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer ideally with previous experience in a technical lead role or an interest in moving into a leadership role. As the company is beginning a number of projects from scratch, you will get the chance to see a number of products from design to manufacture.

This is a Embedded Linux Engineer job focusing primarily on Linux Kernel Drivers as well as experience working on high speed and low latency applications.

Key Skills:

  • Degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science or similar
  • 5+ commercial Embedded software experience
  • Good commercial Embedded Linux experience working on Kernel Drivers
  • Excellent experience working on commercial C++
  • Good experience working on low latency applications using Embedded Linux (Video, Graphics, semiconductor etc)

The company are looking to offer circa £65k along with an excellent benefits package, remote work and the chance to work on a diverse range of products.
