Digital Design Engineer – Embedded Systems

Location: Stevenage

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum + Bonus

This market leading and global company within the aerospace and defence sector is looking for an Embedded Digital Design Engineer who has experience within embedded systems throughout the full development lifecycle. You will be working with the latest embedded devices from major vendors in the development of complex embedded digital systems, firmware, software and hardware.

This is a great opportunity to develop both technically across many areas with cutting edge technology as well as in leadership.

Security Clearance: This position is subject to security clearance and so all candidates must be British and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. Previous or current SC and DV clearance is highly beneficial.

Duties & Experience

• Work across complex systems including DSP Systems (e.g. Image Processing, Software Defined Radios), SoC Systems and Security Critical Systems
• Be involved in full development through design, implementation, integration and test
• Work with teams across system, software, FPGA and hardware design
• Embedded Design & Modelling
• Analyse the key performance indicators of the design
• Integration and testing of embedded systems onto hardware
