Job summary

ARC Recruits is seeking an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer for a busy accident repair centre in Coventry. You will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicles to a high standard, following manufacturer guidelines and quality procedures.

Working with a skilled team, you will apply primers, basecoats and lacquers, ensure accurate colour matching, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in line with health and safety requirements. ATA or NVQ would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an automotive body shop / accident repair centre.
• Strong vehicle preparation and paint spraying skills.
• Good knowledge of modern paint systems and colour matching.
• High level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and panels for painting.
• Mix and match paints to achieve accurate colour matches.
• Apply primers, basecoat and lacquer according to standards.
• Ensure finishes meet quality standards and timescales.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow health & safety procedures.
