Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Coventry seeks a skilled Vehicle Technician / Auto Mechanic to join our technical team. You will perform deep-level diagnostic fault finding, engine and drivetrain overhauls, and routine servicing across a wide range of vehicles to exacting standards.

You should have NVQ 3/IMI 3 in light vehicle maintenance, strong diagnostic and repair skills, a full UK licence with your own tools, and ideally a DVSA MOT tester card.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served background).
• Advanced diagnostic problem-solving capabilities alongside strong, proven mechanical repair skills.
• DVSA MOT Tester Smart Card is an advantage but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep-level diagnostic fault finding.
• Carry out major engine and drivetrain overhauls.
• Conduct pre-MOT safety evaluations.
• Perform routine maintenance on diverse vehicle marques.
