Job summary

The Vella Group in Coventry is seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our expanding accident repair team. You will perform prep and spray painting in our spray booths to high standards, maintain tools, and work within safety guidelines to deliver quality finishes.

Ideally IMI/ATA qualified with bodyshop experience and a collaborative mindset. We offer 42.5 hours/week, 33 days holiday including bank holidays, pension, private healthcare options, and access to Perkbox discounts.

Qualifications

• IMI/ATA qualified Paint Technician with strong Bodyshop experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Full UK driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preparation and spray painting to agreed methods in a spray booth.
• Maintain and clean spray guns.
• Operate spray booths ensuring correct pressure and temperature per manufacturer guidelines.
• Observe safety precautions around petrol and fuel systems.
• Ensure air intakes are clear and filters are changed as required.
• Wear PPE and dispose of paint and waste correctly.
