Perfect Placement UK Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious, high-end specialist business near Leamington Spa for a Classic Car Restorer / Build Technician. The role focuses on restoring rare, high-value classic vehicles to display-quality standards with expert craftsmanship.

You will join a skilled team, undertake engine rebuilds, welding and fabrication, and fit suspension, brakes and drivetrains, delivering meticulous results on long-term projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a classic car restorer or build technician.
• Strong skills in engine rebuilding, welding, and fabrication.
• Knowledge of classical, performance, or low-volume vehicles is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Restoring and rebuilding classic cars to display-quality standards.
• Stripping and inspecting engines, rebuilding mechanical components.
• Welding, fabrication, including MIG and TIG welding tasks.
• Fitting suspension, brakes, steering, and drivetrain systems.
• Fabricating bespoke brackets and custom parts to specific requirements.
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and conducting testing phases.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure all restorations meet high standards of quality and detail.
