DCS Recruitment Limited is seeking two Aircraft Mechanics for corporate jets based in Dorset. You will work under licensed engineers on base maintenance, servicing, component changes and inspections to maintain airworthiness in a regulated environment.

Formación

• Previous experience as an Aircraft Mechanic or within an aircraft maintenance environment.
• Good technical English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to understand and follow technical instructions and maintenance documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team.
• Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexible hours, including shifts and additional duties as required.
• Medically fit for aircraft engineering duties and detached work.
• Must pass required security clearance checks and UK/ITAR requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out aircraft servicing and base maintenance under supervision of licensed engineers.
• Assist with daily checks, component changes, inspections, repairs and defect rectification.
• Support investigation and rectification of aircraft defects as directed by Crew Chief or supervisor.
• Follow maintenance instructions and documentation to ensure work is correct and safe.
• Support aircraft reconfiguration tasks including cabin and underwing equipment changes.
• Assist with aircraft refuelling under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Apply risk assessments and safe systems of work during maintenance.
• Maintain control of tools, materials and equipment and monitor service dates.
• Keep a clean, organized workspace and prevent foreign object debris (FOD).
• Identify safety concerns or maintenance issues and report them.
• Ensure training and compliance requirements remain up to date.
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team to meet schedules and deadlines.
