Birmingham City Football Club seeks a Lead Academy Physiotherapist to lead assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and ongoing management of academy players within the PDP programme. You will work with the Head of Academy Physiotherapy and wider Performance Support team to uphold high standards of medical care and injury prevention.

You will contribute to evidence-based practice, manage medical records and screening programmes, and deliver targeted injury risk reduction across U21 age groups,

Qualificações

• BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.
• CSP membership.
• HCPC Registered Physiotherapist.
• ATMMiF qualification.
• FA Safeguarding qualification.
• Leadership and organisational skills.
• Experience in elite sport/football.
• Strong communication within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver physiotherapy services across PDP squads.
• Lead assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injured players.
• Provide medical cover for training and matchdays.
• Maintain medical records and manage data in Kitman Labs and SharePoint.
• Design and implement injury risk reduction programmes.
• Collaborate with MDT to optimise player development and performance.
