Job summary

BioChek is seeking an R&D Scientist I to join the Research & Development team in Bracknell. This hands-on role focuses on BioChek’s established ELISA portfolio and new assay development.

You will independently plan and deliver experiments, analyse data, and provide leadership to R&D Technicians. You’ll own projects from planning to reporting, driving improvements in assay performance and communicating findings to internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

• BSc in a relevant scientific discipline and industrial R&D experience
• Hands-on ELISA design and development experience
• Experience planning, executing and reporting R&D projects

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and conduct laboratory experiments
• Lead and support a team of R&D Technicians
• Analyse results and report findings to internal and external audiences
• Provide technical guidance to other departments and improve assay performance
• Present scientific data to audiences and contribute to technical discussions
