Electronics Test Engineer - Glamorgan - up to £40,000 + Benefits - Ref 1967

We are recruiting for an Electronics Test Engineer at a cutting‑edge technology company based in Glamorgan. Salary up to £40,000 + benefits.

The organisation has been in operation for many years and is worldwide leaders within the design, development, and manufacture of highly intelligent products. They employ hundreds of people and continually evolve legacy products while designing new ones.

They need a permanent Electronics Test Engineer to support growth.

In this role you will be responsible for testing, fault finding and troubleshooting customer‑returned products at component level, including work on PCBs and soldered capacitors. Tasks include lifecycle, drop, vibration and environmental testing. You will write reports to support the tests and findings.

Essential Requirements

• Experience as an Electronics Test Engineer, Electronics Technician, Quality Engineer, Quality Technician or similar.
• At least 2 years commercial experience.
• Minimum HNC in Electronics.
• Experience testing, fault finding and troubleshooting electronics down to component level.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience dealing with customer returns / warranty claims.
• Understanding of BS EN (phone number removed).
