Red Bull Powertrains in Milton Keynes is seeking an Electronics Technician for our Factory and Rig Systems. You will install, maintain and troubleshoot electronics looms and components on dynos and rigs to keep performance up.

Reporting to Senior Electronics Support Engineer, you will support commissioning, monitor health of installations, manage spare parts, and contribute to improving dyno electronics while adhering to COSHH and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical and electronic installation practices, including MIL-spec wiring and sensors.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve sensor or wiring issues methodically.
• Experience in Formula 1 or high-level motorsport preferred.
• Commitment to COSHH, health and safety requirements and clean working environment.
• Proactive in supporting electronics commissioning and first builds.

Responsabilités

• Install electronics per dyno and rig installation guides and raise fault reports.
• Support electronics commissioning and first builds of new installations.
• Monitor health and performance of electronics installations and inspect for wear.
• Generate servicing reports for electronics components and follow up actions.
• Maintain accurate booking of components in parts management system.
• Manage spares levels to ensure readiness and reliability.
• Assist in fault investigations to identify root causes.
• Provide feedback to improve dyno and rig electronics installations.
• Be an integrated member of the Electronics Support Engineering group.
