Job description

A leading manufacturer of Materials Testing Machines, Accessories, Software and Automated Test Systems is looking for an Electronics Technician to join the team.

They have recently purchased an innovative technology company specialising in solutions for non:contact, high accuracy measurement. The range of products are entirely produced in Redhill, and they are looking for someone with an understanding of light manufacturing processes to assist the team with the build process.

What You'll Be Doing As Electronics Technician
  • Use the company ERP (MRP) system (Microsoft Dynamics F and O)
  • Perform incoming parts inspection
  • Kitting parts from the ERP production orders for sub:assemblies and final production
  • Assisting with the calibration of completed products, recording serial numbers and keeping records in line with company procedures.
  • Packing the finished products
  • Ensure production data is recorded and files are accurate
We're Looking For An Electronics Technician With
  • Apprenticed trained NVQ / HNC / HND / in Mechanical / Electronic Engineering or other relevant discipline
  • Training in electronic product assembly or a manufacturing environment with a strong practical emphasis
  • Full UK driving licence would be advantageous
  • Close tolerance assembly skills
  • Competent with precision measuring equipment i.e. micrometres and verniers
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Able to operate a variety of small hand tools
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence would be an advantage
