Job summary

ZENOVO LTD in the United Kingdom is seeking an Electronics / RF Design Engineer to help design and develop high-performance electronic products. The role offers hybrid working in Yorkshire and a chance to grow specialist RF skills through hands-on mentoring.

The successful candidate will contribute to from concept to manufacture, work with manufacturing teams, and continue improving existing products while applying rigorous design practices.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical/RF Engineering.
• Practical experience of electrical/electronic design.
• Ability to understand electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Analytical and methodical approach to engineering problems.
• Good attention to detail and a practical approach to design.
• Interest in RF, microwave or high-frequency electronics.
• Ability to work with both engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Willingness to learn and develop specialist technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing electrical/electronic products and assemblies.
• Producing and modifying engineering designs, schematics and technical documentation.
• Supporting development of products from concept through to manufacture.
• Carrying out design calculations, analysis and simulation where required.
• Supporting testing, fault finding and validation of new and existing designs.
• Working closely with manufacturing to ensure designs are practical, robust and manufacturable.
• Investigating technical issues and identifying effective design solutions.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of existing products and processes.

Job Title: Electronics / RF Design Engineer
Location: Yorkshire (hybrid available)
Salary: Competitive (DOE)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer to join an established and technically specialist engineering business developing and manufacturing high-performance electronic products for demanding applications.
We're particularly interested in engineers with solid electronics/electrical design experience, an interest in RF technology, and the aptitude and enthusiasm to develop specialist skills through hands-on training and mentoring.

About the Role

• Designing and developing electrical/electronic products and assemblies.
• Producing and modifying engineering designs, schematics and technical documentation.
