Job summary

Redline Group has been retained by a leading process instrumentation designer and manufacturer in Surrey, who are looking for a Procurement Lead – Electronics to join their team. This role focuses on sourcing electronic and electrical components within a regulated manufacturing environment, balancing cost, quality and delivery.

You will own supplier selection, negotiation and contract award, support RFQs, and ensure supplier conformance to technical and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience sourcing electronic components in a regulated environment.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to translate technical requirements for suppliers.
• Effective stakeholder management across engineering, production and suppliers.
• MCIPS qualification would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier selection, negotiation, and contract award for electronics.
• Support RFQs with pricing and lead times to Sales.
• Ensure suppliers meet regulatory, technical and commercial requirements.
• Manage supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery) and drive improvements.
• Resolve supply chain issues with internal teams and suppliers.
• Support purchasing and supply continuity.
• Ensure ISO9001 and company standards compliance.
