Job summary

Indra Park Air is seeking an Electronics Engineer to contribute to design, development, test and documentation of company products and their manufacturing test systems. You will perform detailed circuit design, PCB specification, prototype evaluation, and hardware integration, while mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires a 1st or 2:1 in a relevant technical subject, experience with analogue, digital and RF electronics, and knowledge of communications systems.

Qualifications

• 1st or 2:1 degree in a relevant technical subject.
• Experience with analogue, digital and RF electronics.
• Knowledge of communications systems equipment specification, design or test.
• Delivery focus and ability to meet timescales.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electronic engineering design and development to meet project requirements including detailed circuit design, PCB specification, prototype evaluation and troubleshooting.
• Support hardware integration and test, develop test plans and execute them.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in design reviews.
• Mentor junior members of the engineering design team.

As an Electronics Engineer at Indra Park Air you will play a vital role in conducting electronic engineering activities in the design, development, test and documentation of company products and their manufacturing test systems.

What you will do

• Carry out electronic engineering design and development to meet project requirements, to include:
  • Detailed circuit design
  • PCB specification
  • Prototype PCB evaluation and troubleshooting
  • Carry out and support hardware integration and test, Test plan development and execution
  • Technical documentation
  • Participate in hardware design, build and other reviews
• Mentor junior members of the engineering design team

Requirements

What we are looking for

You will preferably have a 1st or 2:1 class degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical subject. We are particularly interested in receiving your application if you have experience in any of the following areas:

• Some knowledge of communications systems equipment specification, design or test
• Some understanding of communications modulation techniques
• Experience of the following:
  • Electronic circuit design, simulation, prototyping and development
  • Delivery focus – experience meeting timescales. Able to unblock critical issues to allow the project to move forward.
  • The full product development lifecycle
• Practical experience or understanding of some of the following:
  • Analogue, digital and RF electronics
  • Basic understanding of network technologies

Whilst maintaining a positive mindset, flexible approach, high aptitude to learn and good problem-solving skills.
