ALTEN seeks an Electronics Design Lead to own electronic hardware development from concept through production in a senior/lead role. Location options include Glasgow or Reading, with four days on-site per week and SC clearance eligibility.
You will guide designs across regulated Defence/Aerospace sectors, mentor engineers, and ensure reliability and quality throughout the lifecycle. The role emphasizes leadership, design verification, and stakeholder collaboration within cross‑functional teams.

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Lead to join our engineering team, supporting the delivery of advanced electronic systems within a highly regulated environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior electronics engineer to take ownership of electronic hardware development throughout the full product lifecycle. Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will lead the design, analysis, and development of complex electronic solutions, ensuring designs meet performance, reliability, and quality requirements from concept through to production.
Location: Glasgow or Reading
