Job summary

World Class Defence Organisation in Stevenage is seeking Electronics Design Engineers on a 12-month contract. The role combines onsite work with occasional remote arrangements, and you will work within a friendly engineering function delivering cutting-edge electronic solutions for weapon systems.

Candidates should have strong analogue, digital, power design or FPGA skills, plus a degree and proven ability to lead design work packages.

Qualifications

• Ideally, degree qualified with significant post qualification experience in Electronic Design and delivery.
• Ability to lead significant Electronic design work packages within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Excellent problem solving skills across a wide range of electronic technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge electronic solutions for weapon systems, including on-board missile sub-systems and firing units.
• Ensure quality and performance of electronic solutions and provide schedule updates to the project manager.
• Lead electronic design activities across power, analogue and FPGA domains throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, mechanical and EMC teams to meet stringent requirements.
