Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of engineering in a high-risk environment whilst performing high levels of safety and reliability.
  • Professionalism within High‑Frequency PCB Layout.
  • FPGA integration knowledge.
  • Flexible PCB design (2‑6 and up to 16 layers).
  • Ability to be compliant with ISO space standards and EMI/EMC.
  • Eligible for UK Security Clearance.

Job title: Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Oxford

iO are currently partnered with a consultancy style business who have a magnitude of worldwide offices. Currently , they are on the lookout for an Electronics Design Engineer to join on a permanent basis with the primary office being Oxford .

Focusing on mainly safety‑critical projects within the Space Industry, you will assist the current team in continuing to deliver solutions efficiently to clients whilst simultaneously providing excellent service. With working in a consultancy environment, you will essentially be given 'fast track' learning which will allow you to develop your skills within a short time span, repeatedly. It will also give you the ability to see multiple full product life cycles, right from concept to completion.
