Job summary

Service Service in Great Yarmouth is seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our marine and offshore electronics team. This hands-on role covers circuit design, prototyping, PCB development, testing and troubleshooting from concept to production.

You will work closely with fellow engineers to deliver innovative, reliable electronic systems and will contribute to documentation, qualification, and continuous improvement within a quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuit design.
• Experience with circuit design, simulation and PCB layout software.
• Experience programming MCU and PIC devices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

Electronics Design Engineer

Great Yarmouth

£50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Service Service is recruiting for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join an established engineering business developing specialist electronic systems for marine and offshore applications.

This is a hands-on design role covering electronic circuit design, prototyping, PCB development, testing and troubleshooting. You'll work closely with other engineers to develop innovative products from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype electronic circuits and systems
• Develop and integrate electronics into larger products
• Support PCB design, simulation and layout
• Produce technical documentation, test specifications and procedures
• Test, troubleshoot and resolve electronic design issues
• Work within ISO 9001 quality processes

About You

• Degree or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

Desirable Experience
