Job summary

New Appointments Group in Margate is seeking an Electronics Assembly Operative for a temporary to permanent role. You will assemble electronic products to written work instructions, with soldering experience encouraged and on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous electronics assembly experience is essential.
• Previous soldering experience is essential.
• Able to follow detailed work instructions and technical documentation.
• Able to lift and move items weighing up to 11kg
• Comfortable working in a predominantly seated role, with occasional standing and walking.
• Good eyesight, including close vision, colour vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products following written instructions and manufacturing documentation.
• Carry out assembly and soldering to a high standard.
• Complete tasks accurately while meeting quality and production targets.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the work area.
