Job summary

A UK recruitment agency is seeking an Electronics Assembler for ongoing contract work in Greenwich. The successful candidate will undertake assembly processes, following engineering drawings and ensuring adherence to ESD standards. The role requires working shifts of both days and nights on a 2-week rotation. A training period will be conducted initially. The ideal candidate must possess the right to work in the UK. Competitive hourly pay between £13.00 and £14.00 is offered.

  • Understanding of ESD product disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical racking systems and wiring as per drawings.
  • Build and install modules that comprise the assemblies.

Electronics Assembler

January Starts

Greenwich, SE10

Ongoing Contract

Friday – Sunday (33 hours p/w)

(Day & Night shifts) 6am starts.

£13.00 - £14.00 per hour

As a Electronics Assembler you will be responsible for;

  • Undertaking assembly processes, ensuring all ESD product disciplines are adhered to and products are correctly built and tested.
  • Following Engineering drawings to assemble the mechanical racking systems, sub assembly and wiring of all connections.
  • Building, assembling and installation of modules that make up the suites.
  • Rack wiring completed for all the panels connecting to each other as per drawing.
  • Assembling different power supply units and installation of cubicles.
  • Working on control panels, including complete wiring on the panels using crimp tools
  • Component & D-type connector soldering
  • Electrical/Prototype Wiring
  • PCB Building
HOURS OF WORK

The successful Assembler will be required to work shifts of both Days & Nights, on a 2 week rotation.

Please note that the initial 3-week training period will be on a Monday – Thursday basis.

Days (x2 weekends)

Friday – Sunday 6am – 17:45

Nights (x2 weekends)

Friday – Sunday 18:00 – 05:45
