Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting an Electronics Assembler in Newmarket to join a busy production team. The role involves hands-on electronic assembly, fitting parts, and preparing cables to engineering specifications.

The successful applicant will work from 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with pay ranging from £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-speed electronics assembly in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to interpret assembly drawings and work with hand tools.
• Soldering and crimping skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components to production diagrams.
• Fit parts and components to meet quality standards.
• Use hand tools and electrical hand tools to complete tasks.
• Solder and crimp connections and perform cable assemblies.
• Collaborate with production staff to complete operations accurately.

Job description

Position: Electronics Assembler

Location: Newmarket

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 - Depending on experience

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week - 08:00am - 16:00pm, Monday to Friday

Proactive are currently in search of multiple experienced Electronic Technicians to start work immediately for a client of ours in Newmarket. The successful candidate will be working as part of a team within the production area, and should have previous assembly experience working within a faced paced manufacturing environment.

• Electronic Assembly
• Fitting of parts and components
• Use of hand tools, with some use of electrical hand tools
• Ability to understand assembly diagrams
• Soldering & crimping
• Cable Assembly
• Cooperate and work with all other production staff
• Ensure all operations are complete and done correctly
