A leading financial institution in the UK is seeking an Electronic Trading Risk and Control Automation Lead to enhance their electronic trading risk management capabilities. This role involves developing and implementing automation strategies to improve efficiencies in risk and controls as well as delivering on regulatory remediation. The ideal candidate should have a STEM degree, solid eTrading experience, and strong stakeholder management skills, with knowledge of Python, Java, or C++. As an Electronic Trading Risk and Control Automation Lead, you’ll perform the significant harm function algorithmic trading under IAR, SHF9, and support the administration of the e‑trading governance structure, including the Electronic Trading Risk Committee. Alongside this, you’ll ensure the smooth management of the three electronic trading control lifecycles, including the algorithm lifecycle, the automated control lifecycle and the e‑platform lifecycle.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have knowledge of financial service businesses, including investment banking, and operational experience within an electronic trading business or appropriate consulting experience.
