Electronic Test Engineer (Safety / Quality)

Location: Pontefract (West Yorkshire) -Onsite

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (DOE)

Holidays: 25 days + 8 bank holidays

Do you love taking things apart, figuring out howthey work and testing them to their limits? Our client is offering afantastic opportunity for an electronics professional who enjoyshands-on problem-solving and technical analysis.

This role involves working with a diverse range of productsfrom medical devices to industrial machinery whilst gaining valuableexperience in product disassembly, testing, compliance anddocumentation review.

About the Role:

This position involves a 50/50 split between hands-on testingand document review to ensure

products meet the highest safetystandards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Taking apart products to understand their safety features,including PCBs, power supplies, motors and lasers.
• Conductingtests such as oscilloscope measurements, PDM, flash testing andcomponent-level repairs.
• Reviewing technical documentation toverify that safety components are correctly implemented andfunctioning as intended.

What We’reLooking For

• HNC/HND or higher qualification inelectrical/electronic engineering
• Experience in technicaltesting and repair within complex electronics
• Bonus if youhave experience working in a regulated environment
