Title: Electronic Assembler

Location: Bristol, PA

Job Description:

This position involves staking, masking, and applying conformal coating on electronic assemblies in a high-reliability environment. It requires manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform tasks related to conformal coating, potting compounds, and adhesives on electronic units following documented processes and instructions.
  • Implement engineering changes, modifications, and repairs as directed.
  • Utilize specialized hand tools such as torque screwdrivers, dispensing equipment, spray guns, and masking techniques.
  • Generate detailed assembly records documenting actions taken.
  • Accurately record labor and follow assembly travelers depicting sequences.
  • Coordinate with quality, engineering, and customer representatives to ensure high-quality output.
  • Inspect work visually, maintain quality standards, and uphold ESD, housekeeping, and safety protocols.
  • Assist and train other employees as needed.
  • Use basic PC skills for documentation and timesheet preparation.
  • Adhere to EH&S procedures for recording, handling, and usage of materials.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret BOMs, work instructions, travelers, blueprints, routers, and engineering change notices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compliance with divisional ethics and attendance policies.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Additional Skills:

  • IPC-610 Certification Class III.
  • J-STD-001 Certification.
