Electronic Test Engineer

Bolton

Up to £45,000

Electronic Test Engineer required by hugely successful engineering company, based in Bolton. The successful Electronic Test Engineer will be responsible for test and component level repair of electronic products to strict quality standards.

Main Duties - Electronic Test Engineer

• Assembly and test of electronic products throughout the product life cycle.
• Ensuring calibration of test equipment.
• Fault finding to component level and carrying out repairs.
• Carrying out root cause analysis
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Updating records and databases.
• Ensuring that finished products conform to quality standards.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of processes.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following : Electronic Test Engineer

Qualifications

• A background within a similar position gained within a manufacturing or engineering or equivalent environment.
• Qualified to HNC or equivalent in electronics engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience of fault finding to component level of electronic products.
• An understanding of continuous improvement processes.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
