Role

As an Electronic Repair Technician, you'll work within a skilled test and repair team, carrying out diagnostics, refurbishment, and testing on a variety of electronic, electrical, and mechanical assemblies. What You'll Be Doing
  • Diagnosing, repairing, and testing a wide range of electronic systems
  • Performing fault‑finding and reverse engineering to component level
  • Using advanced test equipment and diagnostic software
  • Ensuring high‑quality standards and accurate repair documentation
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and developing test procedures
  • Supporting team knowledge sharing and upholding health & safety best practice
About You
  • Skilled in soldering (surface mount & through‑hole); IPC‑610 / IPC‑7711/21 certification preferred
  • Confident using electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools
  • Comfortable with crimping, mechanical assembly, and torque tightening
  • Able to read technical drawings and apply practical problem‑solving
  • Team‑oriented, quality‑driven, and calm under pressure
  • Desirable: Experience in rail, defence, or other high‑reliability sectors.
