Job summary

A manufacturing company in Poole is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to play a vital role in testing and developing high-end audio products. The ideal candidate should have a Level 3 Electrical/Electronics qualification and strong skills in electronic testing. Qualifications

  • Testing and inspecting audio products to meet technical specifications.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in wiring, components, and PCBs.
  • Supporting prototype development and routine equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Testing and inspecting audio products to meet technical specifications
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in wiring, components, and PCBs
  • Supporting prototype development and routine equipment maintenance
  • Developing and maintaining test schedules and calibration processes
Experience
  • A Level 3 Electrical/Electronics qualification or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong understanding of electronic test practices and equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, signal generators)
  • Familiarity with ESD procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and VB programming
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desirable experience includes knowledge of acoustic testing procedures, IPC 610/620 standards, and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
