Leonardo UK is hiring Electronic Engineers at multiple levels to join our growing Electronics team in Newcastle. You will contribute to cutting-edge radar, naval and airborne surveillance systems, working within a world-class defence technology company.

Salary: Engineer: £37,400 to £53,550 / Senior: £45, 200 to £61,950 / Principal: £53,300 to £71,400 / Lead: £59,400 to £84,955

Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.

We are a world-class defence technology company, and we develop cutting edge radars for the Eurofighter Typhoon, maritime and airborne surveillance systems and advanced targeting (working with electro-optic systems and lasers) . We are also investors in innovation, undertaking all our own research to fuel our future products. We are recruiting talented, motivated engineers to join our growing Electronics team.
