Job Overview

Are you ready to play a crucial role in cutting‑edge missile projects? We are looking for skilled professionals to support the electrical/electronic aspects of missile system architecture. Your responsibilities will include specifying electrical requirements, defining interfaces, designing power architectures, and ensuring signal safety for a range of future missile projects.

Responsibilities
  • Specify electrical requirements for subsystems and equipment.
  • Define interface requirements and characteristics.
  • Design power architecture, including load budgets and profiles.
  • Establish data communication and processing architecture.
  • Develop requirements for EMC, bonding, grounding, and screening.
  • Ensure signal safety, including routing of safety‑related signals.
  • Support the electrical/electronic technical aspects of the system architecture and topology of a missile.
  • Engage in technical discussions with equipment suppliers, participate in testing activities, and contribute to various stages of missile development.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Ideal: a degree or equivalent qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or a related subject.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • British Citizen willing to obtain DV clearance (or equivalent).
  • UK/international travel may be required to suppliers, customers, and other MBDA sites.
Additional Information
  • Salary: Circa £35,000 – £55,000 depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working: four days per week on site, remaining days remote.
  • Security clearance: British Citizen willing to obtain DV clearance.
  • All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) after an offer.
  • Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply.
