Qualifications

  • Proven track record designing complex electronics in a commercial environment.
  • Experience in analogue electronics and critical listening as part of the design process is preferred.
  • Knowledge of global safety and EMC / ESD standards.

  • Design digital and analogue circuits, including microprocessors, DSP, FPGA, DAC / ADC.
  • Prototype, test, and validate PCBs and circuits to the highest performance standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers, consultants, and manufacturers to support integration, testing, and custom component design.

The Role of the Electronics Design Engineer

As part of an R&D team, you will be at the forefront of designing the electronics that power the next generation of our globally respected products.

Your work will span the full design lifecycle, from concept through to production, covering everything from circuit simulation and prototyping to PCB design, testing, and ensuring seamless transition to manufacture.

Working collaboratively with embedded software engineers, mechanical designers, and test engineers, you will play a key role in developing the systems that set our products apart.

What You’ll Do as the Electronics Design Engineer
  • Design digital and analogue circuits, including microprocessors, DSP, FPGA, DAC / ADC.
  • Develop high‑speed digital and power supply systems (linear and switched mode)
  • Prototype, test, and validate PCBs and circuits to the highest performance standards
  • Contribute to EMC and ESD compliance, feasibility evaluations, and peer reviews
  • Create schematics and PCB layouts, with a focus on analogue, digital, and power designs
  • Liaise with suppliers, consultants, and manufacturers to support integration, testing, and custom component design
What We’re Looking for as the Electronic Design Engineer
  • Degree‑qualified in Electronics Engineering (or a related discipline)
  • Proven track record designing complex electronics in a commercial environment
  • Strong expertise in digital systems (high‑speed circuit design, DSP, FPGA)
  • Experience in analogue electronics and critical listening as part of the design process (preferred)
  • Skilled in lab‑based debugging and the use of modern test equipment
  • Proficient with ECAD tools (ideally Altium 360)
  • Knowledge of global safety and EMC / ESD standards
  • Familiarity with collaborative tools such as Confluence and Jira
