Job summary

A leading electro-mechanical company in Fareham is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join their production team. The role involves assembling products to a high standard, following detailed work instructions, and maintaining strict quality standards. Ideal candidates should have the ability to solder to a high standard and possess good attention to detail. Training will be provided for those with previous assembly experience. Competitive rates of £12.50 - £13.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process PCBAs and components in line with work instructions and procedures.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance before moving to the next stage.
• Accurately maintain and update job history on all route cards for tasks completed.
• Proactively report any issues that could impact delivery schedules or product quality.
• Comply with all Health & Safety, housekeeping, quality, and environmental policies.

Rate: £12.50 - £13.00 per hour (DOE)

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-4:00pm Friday: 7:00am-12:00pm

About the Role of Assembler

We are looking for a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble products to a high standard using a variety of tools and equipment. These may include screen printers, surface mount machines, and reflow ovens, as well as microscopes, soldering irons, and automated wash systems. You'll follow detailed work instructions, maintain strict quality standards, and ensure safe operation of all equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately maintain and update job history on all route cards for tasks completed.

Skills and Requirements
