A leading aerospace company in the UK is seeking a skilled engineer to join their EMC Project Team. The role involves writing crucial Environmental Requirement Specifications and reviewing hardware to ensure robust designs and compliance with requirements. Candidates should have a background in Electronics or related fields and strong analytical skills. A hybrid working model is offered and salary is up to £55,000 depending on experience.
This role is in our EMC Project Team who support MBDA programmes throughout their product lifecycles from concept through to disposal. The majority of the work is establishing, progressing and delivering the risk reduction and qualification strategies that will bring a product into service. The EMC Project Team support projects to ensure the correct requirements are implemented, that designs are robust and the strategy is accurate. The role involves writing Environmental Requirement Specifications (ERS's) and subsequent documentation including EMC Control Plans, Proving Plans, Proving Requirements and Proving Instructions in support of product development and qualification, reviewing hardware and may include a hands‑on review of the hardware and some informal testing.
Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2‑3 days per week on‑site due to workload classification.
Security clearance: British citizen or a dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. After the offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
