Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in Fareham, Hampshire, is working with a specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation to recruit a Contract NPI Engineer – Electro Mechanical. The role is onsite full time in Fareham with an immediate start.

The successful candidate will manage NPI activities from prototype to manufacturing release, develop work instructions, tooling, and fixtures, and collaborate with engineering, quality and production teams. Outside IR35 applies.

Qualifications

• Proven NPI experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing.
• Experience taking prototypes or pilot builds to manufacturing release.
• Strong electro-mechanical assembly, testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience producing manufacturing documentation (work instructions, tooling, processes).

Responsibilities

• Manage NPI activities from prototype to manufacturing release.
• Develop work instructions, tooling and fixtures for new products.
• Support prototype builds and validation of manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and production teams to ensure smooth transfer to manufacturing.
