Job summary

Gulmay Ltd. is seeking an experienced Service Technician to test, diagnose and repair high-voltage generators and related equipment at our Byfleet facility in Surrey. The role involves RMAs, technical reporting, customer interaction, and occasional on-site installations and support for Gulmay systems.

You will join the Global Customer Service team, work under the Service Manager, and contribute to quality, documentation, and continuous improvement across service activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical service, testing or repair.
• Ability to diagnose faults to component level.
• Hands-on electrical/electronic/mechanical repair skills.
• Ability to follow technical procedures and specifications.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites after training.

Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose and repair customer products per procedures.
• Liaise with customers and provide technical updates during repair.
• Travel to customer sites to install, service and support Gulmay systems.
• Manage RMAs and prepare technical reports.
• Maintain safety and quality documentation and ISO 9001 practices.
