Job description

Electro-Mechanical Fitter required for a manufacturing company based in Hertfordshire. The company specialises in the design and manufacture of special purpose machinery.

Role & Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for building special purpose machinery from start to finish.
• Fitting of sub-assemblies.
• Fitting sub-assemblies to produce the final build.
• Point to point wiring, cable crimping, looming & terminating work.
• Ability to mark out, drill holes is essential for this role.
• Must be able to read assembly drawings and instructions.
• Must be able to use various hand tools such as spanners, screw drivers, allen keys, torque wrenches as well as crimping tools.
• Ability to use measuring gauges such as verniers and micrometers is essential for this role.

With this role, you will be required to travel to various customers doing machine installation work across Europe as well as the rest of the world. You will be away approximately for 1 week in any calendar month.
