Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in Maidenhead to join a hands-on production team. You will build and test electro-mechanical products, wire components, and assemble sub-assemblies according to drawings and specs.

The role requires experience reading engineering drawings and electrical schematics, plus proficiency with wiring, crimping, soldering and hand tools. A safe, organised workshop environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an electro-mechanical assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with wiring, crimping, soldering and cable assembly.
• Competent in the use of hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Experience working within a production, workshop or engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Building and assembling electro-mechanical products in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Wiring electrical components, looms and sub-assemblies.
• Carrying out mechanical assembly using hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and work instructions.
• Conducting inspections and functional testing of completed assemblies.
• Identifying faults, reporting issues and carrying out rework where required.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment.
